Personality:  Zaire is kind and caring. He doesn't like to cause trouble and tries his best to behave. He is also adventureous and loves to travel and explore new places. He perfers to stick close to his new pride and doesn't like straying far to an unkown territory he doesn't know. Zaire sometimes can be overportective of his family and friends and he does get scared a bit if there is danger nearby.

Pride: Was the Mountain Pride. Now he lives with Samahani's family

History: Zaire was born into the mountain pride to King Malka and his Queen who was a lioness from his pride. He loved his pride and family and he never got into trouble and always tried to behave for his parents even if sometimes he did get into trouble he would just get warned or scolded gently to not do it again because he was only a cub then. He had a pretty good cubhood in his pride but that was about to change.

Some of the hyenas that lived in Shenzi's clan had ambushed his pride they were looking for food and new territory and they thought that this pride's territory was much better than the last territory they lived on. After trying to fight them off his mother already weak from fighting told him to run and not look back but he wanted to stay and fight even though he was just a cub still he could still try and fight them but his mother told him no and to just run since they were outnumbered by the hyenas listening to his mother he ran as fast as he could with some hyenas following him he didn't want to stop become their meal he already had some wounds on him from trying to fight them off.

Zaire reached an unkown territory in the forest out in the open with buzzards circling him but he was to weak and dillusional from his injuries and collasped from exhaustion and his wound injuries. He woke up again and thought he saw a figure of a blurred lioness standing beside him looking worried and only closed his eyes again. It wasn't long before he woke up again and found himself in a cave he looked around and saw a lioness and a lion looking at him gently to not scare him even though he was already scared and the lioness introduced herself as Mchumba and that the lion standing beside her was her mate Scarabir and their cubs.

Zaire felt even more scared about being around a male lion bigger than him but Scarabir only smiled and reassured the cub he was fine and that he was safe here Zaire calmed down and told him his name was Zaire and that he came from the Mountain Lands Pride, Zaire also found out about their three cubs names which were Samahani, Shion and Badru. Mchumba wanted to know why Zaire was all the way from his home and Zaire told her that hyenas had attacked his home and he ran away trying to get to safety. 

Scarabir offered to go back to Zaire's home which was not far from their territory and see if Zaire's mother had survived and Scarabir had come back after searching for survivers and found his mother and father killed by the hyenas he had told Zaire that his mother was not alive and Zaire was upset and cried. Mchumba being the caring mother she was pulled him into a comeforting hug which made Zaire feel safe.

Soon Zaire was healed and was living with Mchumba and her family as a member of their pride. He began hanging around Mchumba and Scarabir's cubs he already made fast friends with all of them he really liked to hang around Samahani more after she had shared her story of being caught by the hyenas and being saved so they instantly bonded right after that since they both were scared of hyeans.

Zaire then started to develop a little crush on Samahani but he was too afraid to admit it to her afraid of what her parents and siblings might think so he kept his mouth shut about it.
