Story: one day Chemi woke up in a field by herself, she was a cub and couldn’t remember anything. She didn’t even know how to talk! Rafiki found her and helped her, he raised he in his tree with him and taught her all she needed to know. When she needed looking after she would stay with Amira(Ahadi and Askari’s mother) and she would look after her. Askari and Chemi were always close, often when Askari would get angry with his brother she would take him off and calm him down, she was the peace keeper. As they turned into teenagers Ahadi realised he was in love with Uru and Askari and Chemi  realised they were in love with each other. Even though they were still only young they knew that they were going to spend the rest of their lives together, so they decided to have a cub. The cub was a beautiful girl and they named her Asili, life was perfect for Askari and Chemi until one fateful day some hyenas entered the Pridelands. No one had ever seen them before, as a result no one took much notice of them because they weren’t seen as a threat. They were hungry and had been travelling for months with no break, they were willing to eat anything! They found Chemi and Asili playing in a field. Alone... They attacked the two lions! Chemi would never let them near Asili as long as she lived, she fought the hyenas and roared for help. Askari came rushing as soon as he heard the signal but he was too late... Chemi had died. Asili was still alive but servilely injured, even Rafiki couldn’t save her. It was a giant loss for the whole Pridelands especially Askari, that’s when he decided to set up the lion guard and dedicated the rest of his life to it. He never loved again. 

Amira belongs to fans. Askari, Ahadi, Uru and Rafiki belong to Disney. Chemi and Asili belong to me. 

The connection to the lion king is that she’s Askari’s mate and he’s in the lion guard and Uru and Ahadi are Mufasa’s parents.
