Meaning: Faithful and Loyal Warrior

Parents: Scar x Sarabi

Siblings: Kipande, Vidogo and Nyeusi (Half brother) and Nuka (Half brother) 

Personality: Kinda ruff around the edges, she has a hard time trusting others and is made fun fo quite a bit. This has resulted in her becoming a bit more aggressive and would fight with a few others due to constant mocking. The friends she does make however, she is incredibly loyal towards.

Orientation: Lesbian

Crush/Mate: Has a crush on Nala but is aware nothing will become of it.

History: Born during Scar's reign with two sisters, each one seemed born with a problelm according to her father. She was born looking more manly even growing a tuft of darker fur on her chin, Kipande was born with an underbite and Vidogo had an odd mix of colors in her iris. Green and Red, a mix of both Sarabi and Scars. Scar saw these children as curses for his previous actions and completely disowned them, during this he also mated Sarafina who gave birth to a boy, though it didn't look how he wanted, it was the best one so far.

As she and her siblings aged they we're ostracized by many of the other lions but weren't completely hated as they we're children of the once highly respected queen Sarabi after all. Nala being one of Amana's few friends and if she we're honest she had a bit of a crush on the older lioness but kept it to herself, it wasn't like Nala stuck around long before she suddenly disappeared.

Now it was the outlanders who we're a bit more harsh on Amana and her siblings, Amana found herself getting into scraps with many of Zira's lionesses due to them constantly making fun of her and her sister Kipande who was very easy to upset, the only outlander who Amana tolerated and even enjoyed the company of was Nuka, as he understood how bad his mother could be and was even subjegated to teasing as well. Amana spared him a lot of slack as he never showed any ill will towards her or her sisters.. When Simba came back and took over, things got a bit better however she still wasn't all that well liked around the pride so she kept to herself. 

Kipande was also kinda left alone but she had her half brother Nyeusi who she had grown a bond with over the years. Vidogo became rather respected among the other lionesses both younger and older and had even offered herself as a means to help regain stronger bonds in the pride. In Amana's eyes, Vidogo was Sarabi's pride and joy while her and Kipande we're just in the background. Her more then Kipande that is but that was fine Amana didn't need anyone, she could stick by herself as a loner. If her father could do it so could she, the only one she really gave time to was Kipande, her mother and more often Nala. As her crush hadn't exactly disappeared but many noticed including Nala. However upon hearing of Nala's pregnancy that more or less sealed the deal with Amana. She was disappointed but being a good friend, she expressed her congrats. 

Zira hadn't been kicked out of the pride lands but it didn't take long before she tried something and Amana had been the one to find her. She had attacked Nala while on patrol and in a fit of rage attacked Zira to protect her, she had tore out a piece of Zira's ear just as Simba and the others arrived, Zira tried to pin the blame of Nala's attack on her and it almost worked if not for Zazu reporting what he saw. Amana happily escorted Zira to the outlands with a few of the other lionesses. Zira wasn't alone in this exile either, Amana did feel bad for Nuka and tried to give him a chance to be with her as her little brother. Nuka considered but by this time Nuka was desparate for his mother's approval and turned her down, insulting her in the process. It hurt but Amana never blamed him. This was the last time she'd ever see Nuka again. 

Simba as a show of good faith gave Amana the role as pride guard. Protecting Nala and future cubs, he'd have with her. Amana considered and agreed and to this day she has taken the role of protecting Nala and her cubs rather seriously. 

Relation to TLK: Daughter of Scar and Sarabi and is the one who gave Zira the notch in her ear.
