Personality: Neliah is a viciously caring lioness- but she cares only for those she considers family. She is bad tempered, but is careful to not allow outbursts of emotion when it is not beneficial. She is a very smooth talker and those who listen to her often describe her as inspiring. Naya is a the ends justify the means sort of lioness who can be a little heartless if she thinks that it will achieve what she needs. She is rather selfless in the sense that she is working towards a “greater good” and not necessarily for her own selfish reasons.

Relations: Sarafina and Zira (daughters; half sisters), Zeke (the full brother to Sarafina).

Basic Information: Neliah was born a rogue and had to fight for everything she has accumulated over her life. Growing up, Naya never really liked her parents and became very detached from them and the rest of her small family. 

Due to her rogue lifestyle, Naya became a very skilled hunter and fighter. When she was old enough to live on her own, Naya left all of her family members behind to start her own life. Not too long after leaving home, Naya came across a lion in trouble. Neliah decided to help him out, and later came to find out that he was a new ruler of a very small pride. Taken with her strength, the lion insisted on Naya staying with him, and she did. After a few months, Naya gave birth to two healthy cubs: Sarafina and Zeke. Naya was only content for so long though- eventually her small pride was too small, and she wanted more. Close to the territory there was another pride, mostly made up of cubs and just two grown lionesses. As a dry spell over took the lands, forcing Naya’s small pride to infringe on the hunting grounds of the other lions, Naya met with one of the two male lions that presided over the territory. The two spoke, and devised a terrible plan: he would drive out his brother and nieces from the land, and Naya would get rid of her mate and the father of her cubs. The two would then become mates to ensure their mutual safety (and destruction). This heartless plan came to fruition, and the two ended up producing one cub between them: Zira. 

Trivia: 

• While her parents named her Neliah, the Warrior Queen prefers to go by “Naya”
• Unlike most rulers, Naya was not born into her role as Queen, and as such demands that everyone, including her own cubs, refer to her as “my Queen” or “Queen Naya”
• Naya does not care about any individual lion as an individual- she is very much a lion who thinks that if harming one saves many, then you should harm the one. 
• Naya is jealous of her older daughter, Sarafina, for getting a life that was easier than Naya’s own. 
• Queen Naya had two mates- the father of her first two cubs, Sarafina and Zeke, and then her second mate who fathered her second daughter Zira. 
• While she claims to not have favorites among her children, Naya’s favorite cub is Zira.
