Personality: Ikenna has a facility with words. He is not an extrovert - he is quiet, he speaks only what is necessary, if at all; but by knowing how to choose words well, he manages to manipulate those around him. Although he is not afraid to use his claws and fangs when needed, he prefers to manipulate situations to his advantage to escape problems, making deals, when necessary, that are rarely enforced.

Likes/dislikes: Ikenna prefers to be quiet and alone, contemplating the meaning of life and things. Although he is not such a fan of fights, he enjoys a friendly tussle from time to time to keep his skills up to date. He doesn't like the heat or the sun; it is easier to find him in some lonely cave or taking walks in the moonlight.

History: When Scar realized that he would need a successor to follow in his footsteps, he would have to try his luck with the lionesses of the pride. Nala, whom he wished to have as his queen, was gone. He had tried his luck with Sarafina, who gave birth to a small, weak cub named Mheetu. His luck worsened with Sarabi - she gave birth to an even weaker lion that would definitely be no good to be his heir - Nuka.
Scar then noticed a lioness a little younger than him, robust and strong, who could give birth to healthy and strong children like her. He finally had luck when the lioness named Zira gave birth to a a large, vigorous cub who looked a lot like him. Scar could hardly believe what he finally saw - a worthy heir to follow in his footsteps. Scar's love for his son was unimaginable; Ikenna's mother, Zira, however, was much more rough and rigid with the little one, and her training was extremely tiring. Ikenna preferred to be in the company of his father, who was much more calm and kind. He also loved to play with his brothers; in fights he was always the winner, and Ikenna was closest to his older brother, Mheetu. As Ikenna was not allowed to be in the company of the lionesses of the pride, he always learned something from Mheetu, who in turn learned something from them. However, the knowledge that Ikenna received was conflicting with that of Mheetu. Ikenna had always learned from his father that Mufasa was a horrible lion, a terrible and selfish king. But Mheetu told him otherwise - that Mufasa was one of the best kings the Pridelands ever had.
Mheetu had to get the young prince out of the kingdom so that he would not continue under Scar's manipulation and influence. Ikenna was very confused; he knew it couldn't be straightforward when confronting his father. He had learned from him to always be careful and to use the right words to absorb as much information as he could acquire in his favor, and even use it against others. And that is what he did: little by little he was discovering the lies that his father had told him his entire life, and his confidence in his father had collapsed.
The few remaining males, led by Sarafina's brother, Mega, decided to unite to flee the Shadowlands and join forces to defeat the king and his hyenas, and Mheetu invited his younger brother to go with them. Ikenna didn't know what to do - he loved his father, but was it worth it to stay there amid so many lies in a pride torn by misery? He then decided that, yes, the best thing to do was to get out of there, and he would not be afraid to face his father if necessary since he knew all his weaknesses, and would use the teachings he had given him against him.
It was not an easy escape; Scar's hyenas tried to stop them, but in the midst of a brutal fight the young group, even though injured, managed to escape from that realm of horror. There they were one for all and all for one. However, all of these events greatly affected Ikenna's mind. He had become an apathetic and quiet lion, even at a young age. All his dreams, hopes and especially his innocence had disappeared at the hands of the one he loved and idealized most, his own father. But he would not allow himself to be a hellish copy of his father - Ikenna would use everything he had learned to take care of himself and of those he cares for.
