History:

Mia was born to Keira and Kyle, and was a miracle of a cub. At the time the two parents were getting old and it wasn’t thought possible that the lions could produce a healthy cub. When Mia was born, it bought positivity to the two. The only issue was that one of her eyes from cub hood was blind, which meant it would be unlikely she would ever be able to hunt.

They often took Mia to the tree of life, where Rani would babysit her, whilst they went on missions, with the Auni. The cub grew a close bond with Rani, who often talked about stories about the history of Ahadi, Mohatu, Mufasa and Simba. Mia enjoyed this well into her teenage years, even going out of her way to visit Rani.

As a teenager, she didn’t socialise much with the other young lions. She didn’t know why, but she didn’t feel like she could, to her parents dismay. She was afraid of being deemed a freak, due to her eye, which wasn’t true. Most lionesses wanted to befriend her. However it gave herself and them some comfort that she had at least one friend in Rani.
