History: Lydia is Zira's sister. They didn't know their father and their mother was cruel. When their mother died of an illness, neither really cared.

Growing up with a horrible mother had made Lydia and Zira into cruel lions just like her. Zira soon got a crush on Scar, a twin Prince. Scar's brother Mufasa ended up King, this made Scar jealous as he believed that he should be king instead. Zira naturally agrees with him. Lydia doesn't though. She thinks that Mufasa should be king since he is the eldest.

When Mufasa and his queen Sarabi, had a cub, Lydia changed her mind. Scar should be king after Mufasa, not Simba. Lydia didn't like cubs very much, some were okay but others weren't. She especially hated Simba since he seemed to like annoying her with lots of questions.

One day, Scar told the pride that Mufasa and Simba were dead. Lydia was glad Simba was gone, no more annoying questions. She was also happy for her friend Scar. He had a chance now to be king. 

During this time Lydia became an Aunt. Zira hated her son Nuka because he was weak and was disappointed with Vitani because she was a girl. Zira seemed to only care about Kovu. Lydia loved all her Nieces and Nephews but tried to give Nuka and Vitani the care that Zira wouldn't. 

Only, Simba wasn't dead and came back years later and killed Scar. She didn't know it was actually the hyenas who killed him. Lydia and Zira were furious at Simba for killing their King and friend. They weren't the only ones who thought that way. Simba then banished Lydia and her family from the pridelands.
