Story: Cora was born to two rogues near the Pridelands, but sadly got separated from her parents in a fire as a young cub. She tried to search for them, but collapsed from all the smoke, and the next day she woke up in a cave, with a large male sitting beside her. Cora was starteled at first, but the lion calmed her down telling her that he wasn't going to hurt her, and that he had saved her from the fire. The lion introduced himself as Leo, and after giving the cub some food and water, he helped her look for her parents. Sadly, they were both found dead, and little Cora was heart broken. Leo then took her under his wing and raised her as his own daughter, and while Cora never got over the loss of her parents, she eventually came to love Leo as a father and swore to remain loyal to him. As she grew older, Cora became more and more curious about the world around her and her will to explore grew bigger and bigger, and finally, when she became a young adult, she decided it was time to head out on her own. Leo was proud about the young lioness she had grown into, and the two bid a heartfelt farewell, after which Cora went on her way. She traveled the lands for some days, until she reached the snowy mountains where she had a run in with a group of leopards. Since Cora was an unexperienced fighter, she took a rather bad beating and escaped just barely - finally reaching the land of The Tree of Life, where she collapsed, injured and exhausted. She was discovered by the queen of the Tree of Life, Rani, and her brother Baliyo, who carried her to the pride's healer Nirmala. She was treated by Nirmala and her son Asa, who Cora was immidietally smitten by. As she had recovered, Asa took her for walks and to exploring the lands, and Cora was very fascinated by everything she saw - and very fond of Asa's company. The two became good friends, however Cora always felt something much more stronger towards Asa than just friendship, she was just afraid to tell him. 

Relation to TLK: Was raised by Leo, falls in love with Nirmala's son.
