Basic Information:

Goma has childhood has never been spoken of, some say that she was kicked from her pride for fear she had some sort of sickness due ot her patches, some say she was born alone in the world and has wandered all her life. Whatever the case, Goma never talks about it. She was brought into the Defenders pride as a teen when The Strongest of Scar's former Lion Guard, found her collapsed under the shade of a tree. He took care of her for a year and half, the two because very close and the liens between friendship and more were blurred. When The Strongest, or Kweli (truest) as she called him, sensed a danger in the winds, and  Strange Lion started showing up around the pridelands, He ran Goma away with false cruelty. 

Goma fled with a broken heart, but left her Kweli a gift in the hands of another lioness, sadly, when Kweli met his end at the claws of a former friend, He did not have time to find this gift.

Goma wander the lands, trying to find somewhere to belong once more. One day while roaming, she spotted to shifty looking lions going into a tunnel hidden behind some brush. Curious, Goma followed them down. carefully, she made sure to keep distance between herself and the two lions, because ahead of them she could see a rather odd lion at the lead.

but Goma was not as sneaky as she had hoped.

The odd lion waited and let the other two pass, she lingered in the tunnel. "don't linger or you will be lost." She said to Goma. Goma stepping out of the shadows apologized for trespassing to which the lioness laughed. "all who seek us are home here, you are where you belong." The Lioness said, allowing Goma to stand near her, She told Goma her name was Skymane, and lead her deeper into the caves.

Goma was brought into the Defenders, she worked hard to earn her wings and was appointed keeper, her job was to watch the entrances to the caves. One day while on duty, she saw a bright golden lion, something about him reminded her of her Kweli, and it made her heart hurt, so she was all to happy to chase him away. However, the lion was curious about the large tunnel she stood watch over. Goma made him a deal, if he could best her in a fight, she would tell him. The Lion agreed far to confident in himself. 

Goma was quick, and used it to her advantage, and the Lion lost. But Goma saw he had a strong heart, and that he could be useful to them, so Goma told him about her home, and showed him inside.

After Mwenye was weighted by the Four Manes, and made a Defender, Goma would often tag along with him and Kanu on thier tasks. she couldn't help but de drawn to Mwenye. they would often spar together, and Goma would best him half of the time, though someday sit seemed like he was letting her win. Goma and Kanu offer to help Mwenye take back his fathers lands from two lions who unfairly defeated his father Tangle mane.

Then, tragedy struck the Defenders of Legacy.

Three of the Four manes, turned to corruption, ordering the defenders to do tasks that only brought good to them, and the pride, caring little for the rest of the land, gathering trophies and treasures for their own good. Even using some of their pride members as servants and forcing others to worship them.

Skymane would not stand for it, and she rallied, Kanu, Mwenye, Goma and a few others in secret, to undue and disobey the orders given by the other Three Manes. She taught the lands the truth that the Four Manes were not gods, they were just the same as anyone else at their core. She argued with them, tried to get them to be better. But nothing changed the corruption in the hearts of her three former friends.

Skymane, had set a plan with Kanu and Mwenye to ask the great spirit to take from the other Three Manes their blessing of long life for their corruption. sadly she was caught will speaking with the great spirit, and the Three Manes had heard of how she was rallying the pride to stand against them.

They ended Skymane's life.

Goma, nearly lost hope in the order, but when Kanu and Mwenye stood and called everyone to stand against the manes, she stayed, and they took down their former leaders. after, she pushed for Mwenye to become leader, but Mwenye did not want it, he said it was better suited for Kanu who lead the charge after Skymane's passing.

Then, after many years of prosper and growth in the Defenders, Kanu vanished.

Their numbers dwindled as moral lowered, Mwenye took the roles as leader and Goma as his right-wing. they tried to keep the order strong. but it was hard.

One day while, hunting for the pride, Goma ran into a lonely face, a cub barely into his teens, his name was Djimon. Goma felt she knew him from somewhere he has a face that was oddly familiar. She asked why he was all alone, and he told her he was exiled from his home. Goma took the cub hunting with her and then she took him to The Defenders, where he would grow and soon promise his WIng, to the King of the Pridelands.

Goma watch Djimon grow up and grew proud of him as he worked along side Mwenye who treated him like a son. She had hope that Djimon would bring forth a brighter generation of Defenders, and just in time, as the return of Kanu and a Plague that had been gone for hundreds of years would shake the land.

Species: african lion

appearance:  Goma is a reddish brown lioness, the a darker stripe down the  back of her head/neck. she a light tan marks and fur patches. Dark denim colored eyes and a dark red nose.

Personality: Goma, is fairly quiet, but far from shy, she is very motherly, and has a strong sense of responsibility. Goma is also a bit on the lazy side, which is why she is happy with her job of guarding the cave entrances, she doesn't have to patrol far. That said, Lazy or not Goma is quick on her feet and cunning. She watches other to learn their ways, and is very good a reading others. Goma is non confrontational and will go out of her way to ignore or escape uncomfortable situations.

Character Summary - Universal Relation:

In short, Goma, was a wandering lioness as a teen who was found by The Strongest, of Scars former lion guard. she lived him with just outside of pride rock for a year and half before he ran her away to protect her from the danger he sensed coming to the land. Goma then joined the Defenders of Legacy, the ancient Order that Inspired the Lion Guard. And was Mated to the Song of Tanglemane, helping him win back his fathers lands from to Rogues who stole it from him unfairly.
