Basic Information:

Name: Sareea

Sareea is a melanistic cub with  who was orphaned when her mother passed away during Scar's reign. She was cared for by the other lionesses in the pride for a time but soon they found she was just another mouth to feed, and eventually they gave up on her.

Atleast most of them had, one day a hungry and desperate Sareea walked up to a small pale lioness while she was having her meal. Sareea was so hungry, and she had heard that Smidge was cruel from the other lionesses, but Smidge looked at Sareea quietly, and pushed the carcass towards Sareea ever so slightly.
Sareea woofed down the food, diging her little claws into it while she took as many bites as she could as fast as she could. Smidge never said a word and just let her eat, while glaring at the other lionesses for thier selfishness.

When Sareea had finished eating, Smidge went back to what was left and Sareea curled up at her side and drifted to sleep. From that day on, Sareea would follow Smidge around the pride, and would even go hunting with her. Smidge never said much, but Sareea didn't mind, she enjoyed having someone who didn't mind having her around.

Sareea would play with Smidge's tail and even though Smidge wouldn't admit to it, she would flick her tail tuft around on purpose so that Sareea could pretend to be hunting a mouse. Scar who favored Smidge, also favored Sareea, and treated her like a grand daughter.  When Smidge was chased from the pridelands by Zira, Zira zeroed in on Sareea, her hatred of Smidge made her attack all that matered to her. Sareea escaped from Zira's clutches and used what little Smidge had taught her to find Smidge, track her down.
Sareea found Smidge in the jungles, waiting patiently under a tree, "you knew i'd find you didn't you mama?" Sareea asked, Smidge said nothing but there was a faint smile on her face as she got to her feet. "come Sareea, we will find a new home here." Smidge said leading her adoptive daughter through the jungles.
Species: melanistic Lion

Personality: Sareea, is respectful and determined. She has a high survival instinct and gives everyone a chance. With a strong will, mind and heart she never gives up. She is a playful and cheerful spirit, always trying to find good within the bad.

Appearance: Sareea is thin and scruffy as a cub from a long time period of neglect. As she hits her teens she gains back her mucle but is still pretty slender (something like vitani) she has a brownish grey pelt and stormy blue eyes. light freckles dot her nose, above her leg markings and the end of her tail. she has light ear rims.

Trivia:

• Her name Means Determined in Arabic
• She likes to play a game were you have to try and find something thats good about a bad situation.
• When faced with trouble she will give a sort of war cry, or silent whisper of "alfajiri itakuja" which means "dawn will come" in Swahili. it is to remind her and those aorund her,  whatever happens good can come out of it.

In short, Sareea, is a cub who was born in the pridelands during scar's reign, she was left to die because lack of food by the other lionesses, and Smidge one of Scar's top generals next to Zira, took her in. when Smidge was chased out by Zira, Zira tried to attack Sareea but she manged to escape and find Smidge.
