Basic Information:

Mwenye is the child of Tangle Mane who was once ruler of the Unguja Pride, which lived on the Unguja Beach side. Tangle Mane taught Mwenye to be an impressive fighter, most of his childhood was spent training. While Mwenye was just barely into his teens, two rogue males came and claimed their home, defeating Tangle Mane who had been Injured having saved, Mwenye from an angry Elephant that claimed the life of his mother.

Mwenye tried to help his father, but only ended up with an injured face as Tangle mane gathered up his son forced to leave his two girls behind.

Mwenye never forgot this injustic that parted his family, ended his bloodlines reign and turned his father into less than the strong proud lion he knew. When Mwenye was old enough he left the cave that his father had moved them into and went out to search for a way to back his homelands and free his sisters from the two rogues.

But he could not do it alone, in his travels he met a lioness who tried to chase him away from a hole she was guarding in the ground. She told him that if he could beat her in a fight, she would tell him where the hole leads. Curious and amused, Mwenye accepted the challenge and much to his surprise, he was thrown on his back. The lioness wasn't strong, but she was fast and very skilled at using her quickness to her advantage.

Mwenye asked her were she learned how to fight, and what pride she was from. The Lioness said her name was Goma, and that her pride was below their paws and miles away. She lead him through the tunnel she was watching and took Mwenye to who she called "The Four Manes"

The Four Manes, weighed Mwenye's virtues and strengths and excepted him into the Defenders of Legacy however, Mwenye did not tell them that he was of royal blood himself only that he wished to reclaim the land of Tangle Mane a fallen royal who had lost his lands to two brutal lions.

Skymane one of the four, gave him a knowing smile, as she knew his secret but told no one. Instead she paired him up with Kanu, another new recruit, the two became friendly rivals fast and within no time, Kanu offered to help take back Tangle Mane's lands with the help of Goma. It wasn't easy but they did just that, Leaving the Pride in his sister Sumaira's paws and telling her to send others to bring his father home.

But Mwenye had fallen in love with the Life of a Defender, and returned back to the order.

It wasn't long before He and Goma became mates, unfortunately not long after, the Defenders of Legacy started to crumble as the four manes turned on each other, Skymane with Mwenye and Kanu worked to save them, but it was no use, the Three other Manes turned on Skymane and killed her, earning the ire of Mwenye, Goma, Kanu and half of the order. In a final battle Kanu slayed the Manes and Mwenye lead the vote to make Kanu the new leader. to which Kanu made Mwenye his right wing.

And then one day Kanu vanished.

With the Defenders of Legacy leaderless, Goma pushed for Mwenye to take over, and he did so. years later, his old friend returned, but not completely the same. Now Mwenye and Kanu battle for the role of Leader over the order, while a Plague and new foe is quickly sweeping over the lands.

Appearence:  Mwenye is a stocky lion with a thick golden mane of different hues, he has sunny golden fur with pink touchs and blue eyes. cheek tuffs point upwards.

Personality: Mwenye is the serious type, but when around his friends he tends to cut loose a bit. He isn't good at opening up or getting close to to others. He is the type to do things by the book, work before play and he can be a bit harsh. He isn't one for pomp and circumstance. and will tell things as they are.

Trivia:

• He dents the Sky Bandit's beak while stopping him from snatching up Goma's newborn when the family ventures away from their pride to welcome the new family member's birth in Mwenye's homeland.
• Mwenye refuses ot tell others that he is of a royal bloodline, as he was to protect not be protected.
• Mwenye's mother was a Pridelander.

Character Summary - Universal Relation:

In short,Mwenye, Son of Tangle Mane, was chased away from his homeland by two pwoerful rogue lions. He joins the defenders to gain back his father's lands and soon become leader of the order with the purpose of serving the Tangled Bloodline (his own bloodline which he has told no one but Goma, Kanu and Skymane about)
