Narar was born during Scar's reign alongside Vitani and Nuka. He was an impressionable cub and held his mother and father in high regard. Unfortunately, the family were exiled when Scar passed away. Life quickly changed for Narar and his mother, grieving from her loss, paid little attention to her young cub. Their situation deteriorated when Kovu came into the picture. Zira focused all her attention on Kovu, making both Narar and Nuka jealous, creating a rift between the three cubs, often teasing and taunting Kovu. One day, their mother caught Narar teasing Kovu. She snapped at Narar, who retaliated, which lead to a heated argument that resulted in Narar running away from his family, fleeing into the Outlands.
Shortly after, Narar ran into a couple of lions, a male called Ty and a female called Bushtail who were looking for new members to join their pride. They adopted Narar into their pride, which began to grow even larger as time passed. Years later, and now an adult, Narar was still haunted by his past. He came to resent how the Outlanders and Pridelanders had treated him. Eventually, during a confrontation he flew into a fit of rage and killed Ty, an action he regrets to this day. For his murderous act, Narar was promptly exiled from the pride, but not before being scarred as a punishment.
Now Narar wanders the land to find exiles like himself, and nurtures a pride of his own making. Narar wishes for nothing more than inner peace, and believes that creating a pride of his own will bring him closer to his goal. Though focused on his mission, he is still haunted by his past, feeling immersible guilt for Ty’s death, and anger for being exiled by those he trusted. His pride is fairly new, so his newfound members are still settling into their new roles. Being the leader, Narar has a lot of responsibility to shoulder and many hurdles to overcome, but he constantly looks to Scar for inspiration, and regretfully attempts to emulate Ty.
