Personality: Inanna is a justice seeker, often only seeing things in black and white. She is a conqueror for her pride. Full of restless energy and armed with a quick and clever mind, she has helped spread the influence of her pride to many lands. She hates being challenged or disobeyed and is infamous for her fury.

Relations: Dieter (brother)

Basic Information:

Inanna is the older sister of Dieter. She was born into a very large pride of lions and grew up with a ridiculous amount of encouragement and praise to pursue what she was best at: fighting. Her parents were both especially proud of her and helped her gain the attention of the King and Queen. From a very young age she became accustomed to ordering others about and having a bigger say in things.

When her younger brother was born, her mother unfortunately passed, bringing Dieter into the world, and while Inanna was in no way malicious towards the cub, she was never really around for him either. She busied herself with training and living life beside the King and Queen. She quickly rose through the ranks of the guard until she became one of the most prominent warriors of the pride, becoming as well known as Malka. Unlike Malka however, Inanna had a mean streak, and the excess of power she held only bolstered that mean streak.

She was tasked by her rulers to gain more territory for the growing pride, and if necessary, to either drive others out or negotiate a treaty in which her pride’s huntresses could hunt on the lands of others. Inanna quickly became infamous for her fighting prowess. Commanding many of the warriors of the pride, she soon conquered many lands in the name of her pride, still, some prides resisted. A horde of lionesses led by a former pride lander called Zira held some illustrious hunting grounds close to the borders of the pride lands. Inanna demanded that her pride’s hunters be granted permission to hunt there on occasion, but Zira refused.

In retaliation, Inanna decided to make an example so that no one else would have the courage to stand up against her or her pride. She took a legion of warriors with her and drove out Zira and her followers, forsaking her to the deadened outlands.

Trivia:

• She shares her name with the Mesopotamian Goddess Inanna, who was known as the Queen of Heaven and having influence over love and war.
• Inanna enjoys swimming, and on hotter days can always be found floundering around in a stream or lake.
• Inanna is the only lioness in the pride to hold such a high position within the warrior sect.
• Nicknamed “Nana” by her close friends.

Summary-Relation: Inanna is a conqueror who often grapples for more power than she is allotted, which has made her more brazen and willing to trample over others. Her dislike of being challenged resulted in her vanishing an entire pride (that of Zira’s) into an unsurvivable land.
