Bio/Personality: Semira is Sarafina's mother, Nala and Mheetu's grandmother. She grew up in the Western High Lands alongside her best friend Kimoni, who's father was chief at the time. Semira always gotten along with everyone in the pride and was always complimented as 'pretty' and 'beautiful'. As she gotten older, competition was very challenging and hard as many males wanted her. But Semira only had heart eyes for Kimoni, which at first he was very stunned. He never thought that she had felt the same way about him for years. Semira has always been there for Kimoni through tough times, especially when his father died. It showed how supportive and very loving she is.

Later on after Kimoni and his brother Chinua became the pride's two new chiefs, Semira happily gave birth to 4 cubs; Sarafina being the oldest. Since Sarafina is daddy's favorite little girl, Davu became mommy's favorite little boy since he is the only male and youngest out of his 3 siblings. Semira always looked out for him (not saying that she doesnt look out for her other cubs, she does. But she is overly protective over Davu). Davu hates it sometimes. His friends would tease him about it and wish that Semira can ease off him a bit. Semira was a bit hurt by it, but understood. Especially when Davu became an adult. He would always love his mother no matter what. He became extremely supportive of her when Sarafina had left to join Pride Rock and was her shoulder to cry on. But Sarafina's exit had affected Kimoni more than Semira. Kimoni was hurt even more when Sarafina stopped visiting. But they had no idea why. They didnt know that Pride Rock was under a very bad situation with Scar ruling evily.

When Sarafina came back with a now older mature Nala at her side, Semira was so happy to see her daughter and grand daughter again. It was a great reunion and she understood why Sarafina was absent all these years. She forgave her daughter easily, rather than Kimoni. It took him some time to understand and listen. When he did, their relationship had went back to normal. He and Semira are both glad to hear that their granddaughter Nala is Queen of Pride Rock and expecting her first cub.
