Bio/Personality: Kimoni is Sarafina's father and Nala and Mheetu's grandfather. He shares a ruling pride and entire land with his brother Chinua, called "The Western High Lands". It is next door to the Pride Lands, about a 10 min walk. His mate is Semira, someone who knew since cubhood and later fell in love. She happily birthed him 4 healthy cubs, Sarafina being the first born. Kimoni loved his family very much and always protected them. He became more close to Sarafina, having an adorable father-daughter bond. His other cubs grew jealous since Sarafina always get to tag along on her father's hunts or patrols (of course when she was older).

Kimoni, Chinua, and their mates were invited to Mufasa's presentation which started the friendship between leaders. It was said at first, that Sarafina was to wed Mufasa once adulthood. But things quickly changed when another neighborhood pride had came along and met Ahadi and Uru. It was Sarabi's parents. At this time, Mufasa is a much bigger cub and he grew on to Sarabi rather quickly, which shocked everyone. Kimoni approved of the changes and so did Sarafina herself. She was never into Mufasa like that, only a friend. So instead, she became best friends with him and Sarabi as time went on. Plus, Sarafina had her eyes set on someone already, which is Nala and Mheetu's father (in the future). Kimoni did had hope for Sarafina to be a Queen at Pride Rock. He knew that she would have done a great job, but in the end though he only wanted what was best for his daughter, which is her happiness.

Once Sarafina became old enough, she decided to leave her birth home and family to go stay at Pride Rock with her friends. At this time, she is secretly pregnant with Nala and Mufasa and Sarabi are just now becoming the new King and Queen. Kimoni was very unsure. It took his mate Semira and brother Chinua to talk things out and for him to allow Sarafina to go on, noting that she is no longer his baby girl. It was hard, but Sarafina promised that she will return for a visit and she did once Nala was born. Kimoni was pleased and very excited to become a grandfather. It was such an pleasant surprise. Occasionally, Sarafina would visit and bring Nala and a now newborn Mheetu up until Scar became King of the Pride Lands and no one could leave Pride Rock. 

It was very odd for Kimoni to believe that Sarafina would stop visiting him and their family. It broke his heart, although he has no idea what was going on at the Pride Lands. He figured she had moved on with her life. So thus, he cut ties and moved on too. It took him a long time to get over the hurt and pain, even his other cubs had tried to help him understand. But Kimoni refused. Once Simba became the new King of Pride Rock and Nala gave birth to her first born Kiara, that is when Sarafina came back to her birth home for an very overdue visit. Kimoni is now a senior. Sarafina explained every thing to him on what had happened to Pride Rock. Kimoni wished Sarafina had seek her birth pride for help to take over Scar, but Sarafina did not want to risk her family being hurt.
