History:  Haali was born in the Pridelands. He is Chumvi's nephew and Nadra and Nora's cousin. Being the same age they all played together as cubs .  Haali loves learning all different things from uncle Chumvi, like how to be quite on hunts and to be kind to other animals. Haali likes talking to his friend Bell and seeing what she's up to.

As teenagers he and Bell met Alivia. The three quickly became friends. Haali helps Simba and the other males protect the pride. Simba told them the story of Scar and how bad things got. Scar had everyone over hunt and that damaged the circle of life. Simba wants to protect his pride from that happening again and from danger entering the Pridelands. Haali and the other males teach the young males to be kind and the importance of the circle of life. He is often on patrol at one of the borders. Simba sends Zazu with Haali so to help and so he's not alone. 

So Haali often had Zazu with him. The bird was sometimes annoying but good company. Zauz would sit on Haali's shoulder tell stories whilst they were on patrol. Stories about how the Pridelands used to be and things his uncle Chumvi would do as a cub. It was a good way to pass the time, Haali laughed at some of the things uncle Chumvi did.

One day Haali thought he saw smoke and had Zazu scout ahead. He saw the fire and Princess Kiara in trouble.
