Background: Born and raised in the Grasslands to former Prince Kopa and his mate, Lula. During one dry season, food became scarce and she accidentally became separated from them while on a hunt. A new band of Lion Guards escorted her back to Pride Rock, where she met Simba, Nala, and the rest of her family. Shocked at the news that their lost son, Kopa was in fact alive, they sent out a search party of lions to find her parents and bring them home. With Vitani leading the group, Simba and Nala told a shocked Kiara about her older brother. He was suspected to have perished when he was never found after a terrible storm, they raised Kiara and Kion without knowledge of their brother until they were old enough to understand. A few weeks later, Kesa grew in size and the group was successful at locating Kopa and Lula. Upon their arrival, Kopa was greeted by his family including his grown daughter who couldn't have been happier she was alive. Lula was beyond shocked to learn her mate was the lost prince and Kopa kept it secret in case Zira found him and had him killed as revenge for Scar. With Kopa returned, Kesa came to realize that she was a member of the Royal Pride and worried if that would mean she would be coronated as Princess then perhaps Queen. Simba assured her that she would only be called Princess Kesa should anything happen to Kiara and Kovu. Kesa resides peacefully with her family.
