Bio/Personality: Laavanya is the daughter of Vitani. She was born a year later at Pride Rock after Kovu and Kiara had reunited the prides. Her birth was such a beautiful moment and everyone could not have been any more proud of the 'late' Zira's daughter. A new, fresh generation was born. Vitani always dreamed of having her own little family someday and was glad that her mate Naba was able to make things come true for her. Having Laavanya was a high blessing for Vitani. All her sad and depressed days of her mother's death was over ( at least for now).

Vitani and her little family did not stay at Pride Rock for long though. She wanted a new start some place else to raise Laavanya. Kovu was hurt that Vitani wanted to leave the Pride Lands and that she felt things were'nt good enough for her there. She felt like she was living in her brother's royal shadow (as she always have for years), it is time for her to start her own new beginnings as Kovu already has his own at Pride Rock with Kiara, Simba and Nala's daughter. Eventually, he let his hurt go and allowed his sister to go on and wished her nothing but the best.

After traveling and finally settling down at a 'decent' land, Vitani and Naba were successful at building their own medium-sized pride and called it, "Aazan" pride. The only reason why they did not struggle is because some of the lions from Simba's pride who were Zira's old members decided to join them later on. They felt too as outsiders still since Simba's lions were having a hard time still accepting them in (although it has been a year). Thanks to them, Vitani and Naba turned out great. Laavanya grown up there as a happy, healthy cub. She was crowned princess a.k.a future queen of the pride. Vitani wanted her daughter to finish and continue her grandmother's Zira's legacy in claiming the Pride Lands back for the late Scar and to end Simba for once and for all.

Vitani has never let things go which is why her mother's death still haunts her till this day. She tried returning back to the Out lands, but Kovu's ex-mate Zahara would not allow her to join her pride there. She called Vitani a traitor and back stabber, since she left to be with the Pride Landers after her mother's death. It angered Vitani that her ex-best friend would not let her come back to her birth pride and she wanted to plot revenge to take it back. That is when Laavanya's training became highly intense.

Later on when Laavanya becomes an young adult, she meets a lion named Eberardo from her aunt Zahara's pride while on the mission to attack. Of course, she failed her mission getting to know Eberardo and learning that the Queen (Zahara) has never done things wrong to her mother Vitani and that she is a good, respectful lioness. He said that her mother is using her for her own good and it had angered Laavanya in the beginning. She wanted knowing to do with him but until she started asking her mother questions, which turned out that the lion was right. She ran away from home for a while (weeks) and spent more time in the Out Lands with Eberardo falling in love. She did not come back to the Aazan pride until she found out that she was pregnant.
