History- Travis was the cub who was born in secrecy and hidden from the view of the pridelands when born. His mother Sarafina was the one who only really cared about him and ignored Mufasa's rudeness toward the cub. As a result she brought their son in to the light so he could socialise with the younger cubs. From a young age he was rather troubled by the fact that his father ignored him and acted like he wasn't his child. His mother said he cared but all Travis viewed it as was his father trying to avoid looking unloyal. So he also disowned his father and step brother to remain with his mother. When his sister was born he was over the moon and looked after her until he chose to leave when Mufasa died. 

He gave love to his mother and sister saying that he would return on day when they needed him. After that he left to find his own place and this was where he met a group of hyenas. Mishka welcomed him with open arms while Vos showed distaste. But soon the duo viewed him as their own and protected him from harm. But when he wanted to go and free his mother from Scar's reign they stopped him. So the worried teen watched as his sister and mother were made to live in such horrible conditions. A firey temper came from him when Simba returned and saved the day. To him his step brother was a coward who didn't deserve such glory. So when he did return to see the two women he blanked his brother. Only when Simba stated that he was no son of Mufasa's did he lash out. Travis snapped at Simba calling him a coward to only be banished from the pridelands, deep down he was hurt but that pain turned in to hatred. 

Since then he has lived with the hyenas with his mother visiting frequently. Knowing he lost his sister to Simba broke him but he put that extra love in his mother. She was the only other lion from the pridelands who he cared for. So when he heard of Simba having a daughter he refused to meet her and remained hidden away with his little family of misfits.
