Bio/Personality: Kaawa is the grandson of Tama. It is clear that his "unknown named" mother was paired up with a male outsider before both Zira and Simba's prides had become one. He was only born shortly after and lived a nice life in the Pride Lands. Tama, in the beginning, was angry with her daughter (Kaawa's mother) that she was sneaking around with an outsider disobeying King Simba's rules. But because Simba shares such a close friendship with Tama since cubhood along with their other past friends and his mate Nala, he allowed for her to keep Kaawa and did not banish them from Pride Rock (when she was pregnant). Now, Tama adores her grandson. She was upset when Kaawa decided to leave Pride Rock and start his dream else where after things became very offical between him and Kovu's daughter "Amana" (by Zahara).

Their relationship had began when young adult Amana sneaked her way out of the Out Lands to find her father Kovu and to bring him back home to his "original" family. While searching around Pride Rock, she bumps into Kaawa and it was love at first sight. To Kaawa, Amana was the most beautiful lioness he has ever seen and he'd noticed how her features resembled so closely to Prince Kovu, Princess Kiara's mate. But he never dared approach the royal family about it, he kept his mouth shut and wanted Amana to return home safe to avoid drama. So he gave her a friendly warning to go back to where ever she came from and that is what angered Amana. She hates being told what to do and does not like taking orders from anyone. She is already dealing with enough from her brother and best friend.

Kaawa apologized and disliked that he upsetted her. He offered to walk with her home as a favor, but it was too late for kindness. Her brother Seb appeared just in time and get his sister. Seb's reaction to Kaawa was not pleasant since he does not like the Pride Landers. Not that they have done anything to him, but the fact that his father has left their family to become one. Amana felt the tension and forced her brother that it was time for them to go home. That was the last time Kaawa thought he would have seen Amana and he was rather saddened.

But until after a few days, she had came back for him and asked if he'd like to meet her mother and best friend Amaris. Kaawa loved the idea and every since then, the two have started out as close friends and then of course next mates. Kaawa was so deeply in love, that he told his parents and grandmother that he wants to leave Pride Rock and be with Amana. He wants to start a new life elsewhere. It was hard for his family to accept but eventually they let him go.

Later on in life, Kaawa and Amana have granted 3 cubs living very happily in the Out Lands.
