Bio/Personaility: Mikaili is the son of Kanaifu, the previous herd leader of the Pride Lands. Mikaili, after his father, will be the next leader of the Mtangulizi Herd during Queen Kiara and King Kovu's reign. Mikaili has been trained well by his father and easily gained acceptance from the current King and Queen, Simba and Nala. Simba knows Kanaifu has taught his son everything he knows about the kingdom and trusts that he will lead and protect the cape buffaloes great.

The scar that Mikaili has gained on his thigh (or hip) was from one of Janja's hyenas. He was protecting his herd when the hyenas was after one of the young calfs and instinctively, Mikaili had come to the rescue and battle the hyenas on his own. Luckily, he had survived with minor injuries and a permanent scar. After showing Rafiki and Kion his scar, Rafiki told Mikaili that his scar will remind him of his bravery.
