Bio/Personality: Kanaifu was leader of the Pride Lands buffaloes during King Mufasa's regin and last Simba's. He now steps down from his position since he is old and lets his son Mikaili take in the lead, which does not happen until Kiara and Kovu become the next King and Queen of the Pride Lands. Kanaifu is known to be very respectful, kind, wise, loyal, warm-hearted which is said from Rafiki, since he has also known Kanaifu for a very long time. Kanaifu was great friends with Mufasa and was extremely sad when he had passed. But the old, retired Queen Sarabi remembers Kanaifu too as someone you can count on and will never disappoint. If you need anything, he will glady attend to it.

Sometimes when Kion and his guard team would play around the Pride Lands or lurk for danger, Kanaifu would inform them troubles whenever the hyenas or outsiders would trespass or even worse, try to hunt his herd.
