Personality- Aithne is fairly disconnected with a form of selective mutism. She dislikes being thrown in to social situations and would much rather go ignored. But if she likes you enough she can be fairly chatty and easy to get along with. Aithne enjoys to see others smile and feel relaxed around her. But she cannot express this because she finds it hard to show the correct emotional reactions. She doesn't like Scar or his hyenas and any type of serpent.

History- Aithne found herself born in to the royal family of a tribe which worked with the pridelands. Through out her cub-hood she visited the pridelands daily to meet Simba. Like her father before her she was expected to be there to be his spiritual advisor. So from a young age she became close to the young king but his uncle Scar despised the tradition between the two groups. As a result he began to tell Aithne that Simba was busy with his father so the two couldn't form a bond. As a result of this Aithne and Simba formed poor opinions on each other. Machi, Aithne's father, despised this and only offered their help to Mufasa if it was dire. As time went on little came from this and the news of Mufasa's death came their way. They sent their condolences and Scar manipulated their kind nature. He had Machi and Tushi come to the pridelands to perform a ceremony. Aithne came to watch with her younger brother. Here she witnessed Scar kill her parents in cold blood. She froze and blankly watched the scene. But once she broke this trance she fled with her brother. Following more threats to destroy the tribe she told the lions to travel far from here to escape his wrath and so they did. Aithne followed closely with her brother who happened to be injured on the journey. Here she turned to a shamen her father told her of. Damien took them both in and soon they never left. Scarred by what she saw Aithne was never the same. She has only just began to improve thanks to her friend Esme's support. 

Relation to TLK- Formally Simba's trainee spiritual advisor and friend, her parents were killed by Scar, The leader of her pride was formally Scar's friend.

Special features- 

She has a case of insular dwarfism due to the climate and terrain that she grew up in. Her parents also had this so she was always bound to be so small. She is half the height and size of an average lion / lioness and shows no sign of growing to the average for a lion.
