Relation to Movie: Kwaai was an Outlander cub when Kiara and Kovu united the prides togther. Once he came to the Pridelands he became part of the new Lion Guard as the most fierce(hence his name).

History:(This was during the time where Kovu was exiled) For most of his life all Kwaai has known is hatred and pain. He was raised as an Outsider. He was taught to become strong, don't let anyone push you around, and to stick up for yourself. Most importantly never trust a Pridelander, becuase they were the reason the Outlanders had to live this way. His mother was always kind to him and made sure that he grew up strong. Zira on the other hand was mean and hateful towards him because he was never good enough or strong enough for her liking. Kwaai always felt left out from all the other cubs. He was the most fierce out of all of them, but he didn't want to hurt anyone. That is why Zira disliked his personality. Even though Kwaai was taught to be mean and hateful he couldn't help but think that there was more to life than just that. So he left the Outlands and sneaked into the Pridelands. Once he was there he couldn't believe what he saw. There was green grass! There were trees! Also so much stuff to eat! He leapt around and chased all the animals he could find. He never caught anything because you rarely had the chance to hunt in the Outlands. Soon it began to rain and Kwaai heard fighting in the distance, so he followed the sounds. He saw the Outlanders and the Pridelanders fighting over the land. He couldn't believe what was happening. He was just about to shout "stop" when he saw Kiara and Kovu jump right in the middle of the two prides. He sighed in relief and listened to what was happening. He saw his mother and the other lionesses take Kiara's side and he became overwhelmed with joy. He was finally going to live in the Pridelands! (Life in the Pridelands) Once Kwaai and the other Outlanders joined the Pridelands new roles and responsibilities were given. All the cubs had to show their strengths and they were taught new lessons. Kwaai was appointed leader of the new Lion Guard, and he faught every day to protect the Pridelands from any danger.
