Ona is a young Hamerkop character from "The Lion Guard" series and is featured in the episodes "Ono and the Egg" and "Return to the Pridelands".

When her mother, Kulinda sees Ono chasing a harrier hawk she decides he would be a good babysitter for her egg. So she leaves it in his nest where, with the help of Ono it hatches.

After many trials of Ono, the Guard and Kulinda trying to protect the chick from harm, she returns to her mother, who names her Ona (in honour of Ono).
