Story: Theo was born in the Pridelands to loving parents, and enjoyed a happy childhood playing with other cubs, including the grandchildren of king Kovu and queen Kiara. As a cub he was very curious and often wandered off in the middle of playing, but always came back when his parents called for him.

One day, Theo wandered a little too far from home and got lost, and that's when he came across a lion he'd never seen before, who offered to lead him the way back home. Being a small and somewhat naiive cub, Theo didn't suspect anything, despite this lion being a total stranger, and just went along with him. As they walked along, Theo noticed how the scenery changed and didn't look at all like the Pridelands anymore, but before he could say or do anything, he was grabbed by a slim, greyish brown lion with some sort of painting on his face - Lagiza. The cub cried for help, and the next thing he knew he was being dragged to an underground series of caves, and tossed into a small cavern. Theo was scared, and for a while, nothing happened, then finally his captor came to him, with a scary grin, caling Theo a "fine looking minion."

In the next following days and weeks, the young lion was put through a lot of harsh training, mental (and sometimes even physical) abuse and mind twisting, but he remained strong by thinking about his home and family. He would never become a tool of evil, no matter how much Lagiza threatened or beat him or tried to manipulate him. After discovering that he simply couldn't get inside the cub's mind, Lagiza decided to make an example of him and keep him prisoner, telling him that if he ever even so much as thought of escaping, he'd feed him to his pet crocodile.

Weeks turned into months, and the once playful and adventurous cub was now turning into a discouraged, depressed young lion. He lost weight, and by the time his mane should have started growing, he still only had a tuft on his head and a little hair on his back and chest. Time passed, and one day, Theo heard from his small cavern that Lagiza brought in another prisoner - a little cub, like Theo once was, named Roscoe. There was a small crack in the wall between their "prisons", and one night, Theo heard Roscoe weeping quietly, and started talking to him, encouraging him to stay strong and not let Lagiza get inside his head, no matter what happened. From that on, the two talked every day, and even though they could not see each other, a strong bond was formed between them. Having someone to talk to, like a kindred spirit, made Theo slowly regain his faith and confidence again, and he did everything he could to keep up Roscoe's faith as well.

Finally, a day that Theo would never have thought he'd live to see came, when Roscoe's older brother and sister, Drummer and Lynnie, along with a small mole named Fresco, came to rescue Roscoe, who saw their opportunity and took Theo with him. Fresco dug a big enough tunnel for them both to fit, and they made their long and dangerous way to freedom. Seeing daylight for he first time in months, at first Theo starteled a little, and it took his eyes a while to adjust after being in the darkness for so long. He was invited to come back to the Isu Keeney pride with Roscoe and his siblings and to stay in their pride, and after hesitating for a while, Theo accepted their invitation with great gratitude. It took him a while to get used to living a pride again, but once he settled down and came out of his shell and started socializing with his pride mates, Theo eventually grew to enjoy his new home, and slowly but surely started feeling better, both physically and mentally.

In time, Theo came to notice a friend of Lynnie's, called Lucy - he admired her from afar for a long time, thinking she'd never be interested, however one day she came to talk to him, and they started getting to know each other. They ended up going for walks daily, which was something Theo had used to doing by himself but now, for some reason, he didn't mind having company. Being with Lucy made Theo slowly regain his self confidence, and her friendliness and positive way of seeing life were the last remaining ingridients needed to heal his broken soul. Finally, he regained the confidence to confess his feelings to Lucy, only to find out she felt the same way. They became mates, and finally, for the first time in a long time, Theo was truly happy. Then came the day when he and Lucy were blessed with two beautiful and healthy sons, who were named Hunter and Luca. Some time later, they were blessed once more with a beautiful little girl, who was given the name Millie.
