Description
The Mole is a minor character in both The Lion King and the Timon and Pumbaa series (although he appears more frequently in the latter)
Although credited as a gopher in Timon and Pumbaa, he is in fact a mole although he does not resemble one.
He was intened to be a naked mole rat. He is first seen giving Zazu news of hyenas in the Pridelands - his role was broadened (to being chased by cub Simba) when the song 'The Morning Report' was added to the film's 2003 Special Edition.
