History : Leif's parents were attacked by Hyenas when he was a young Cub, they didn't make it.

Leif has been wondering from place to place. Nowhere really felt like home or if he belonged there.

As a teenager, Leif stumbled across the pridelands. He stayed there for a while. Whilst he was at the pridelands, he fell in love with Kiara and Kovu's daughter. She didn't like him back, but they remained to be good friends.

After a while he found a different pride. Their leader, Maxson, explained that they were a pride made of lions who were in need of safety or a place to stay. That Leif was welcomed to join, and he did. Happy to finally feel like he belongs.
