Bio: Rajan is the son of Kiara and Kovu, future King of Pride Rock. He was obviously born and raised there, earning a great childhood and having many friends around the pride, getting alone with everyone well in the Pride Lands too. He is such a sweet, gentle soul and brightens everyone's day. As a cub, Rajan enjoys hearing stories about the Great Kings of the past from his grandfather Simba and laying underneath the stars.

One day, Rajan was on his way to meet up with his father for one of his special lessons. His father was going to teach him how to hunt better. But Rajan got distracted when he met another cub his age, a lioness. He can tell that she is new the Pride Lands due to her unique color pelt. This lioness is super friendly and her high energy scared Rajan as he quickly became shy. The lioness can sense that he is afraid and lowered down her playfulness. She introduced herself as "Cali" and asked if he wanted to play a game. Of course, Rajan introduced himself and said yes!

Kovu finally caught up with Rajan and found him playing with the little lioness, the reason why he was late to his hunting lessons. Rajan felt embarrassed. Kovu and Kiara asked the lioness where she is from and offered to help her get back home safe. They met up with her mother halfway. The parents exchanged friendly gestures and Cali's mother was thankful to have known that her daughter is safe. Kiara noticed how much Rajan likes his new friend and told Cali's mother that they are welcome to visit the Pride Lands anytime.

From cubhood to young adulthood, Cali always visited the Pride Lands to see her best friend Rajan. Kiara noticed over the years how much the two favored each other, that she asked Kovu what if they were bethroned to each other. Kovu of course approved and so, it becme offical by royal law. 

When the two became full grown adults, Rajan has decided to be a tough choice by leaving the Pride Lands to create his own pride in the Northern High Lands. Kiara was unsure about her son leaving and was extremely worried. But after having conversations with her mate and father, Kiara eased up and relaxed. As long as Rajan promised to visit, then she will be fine. A few months after Rajan's exit, he returned with a surprise visit with Calia and their new baby girl Nadesha. Kovu and Kiara could not have been any prouder of their son and his adorable family.
