Personality: Kuan has a spunk to life. He loves to spice up anytime with his laughetr and jokes. Although most of the time he is joking around, he can get very serious.  

Likes: Kuan enjoys spending time with his older sister Laini, and his younger cousin Amala. He also enjoys running around the Pridelands with the Guard

Dislikes: Betrayal, mountains, rocks, waiting, and joy-suckers

History: Kuangalia was born into the Jungle Pride. He was fourth in-line of the throne when disaster struck. A flood destroyed his den and all the adult lions in it, he, his sister Laini, and their younger cousin Amala were saved by his aunt Halu. Halu gave them orders to go to the Pridelands to see Uru, so they began their journey. Even though the chaos left an impact on all three of the cubs, Kuan still tried to remain a bubbly personality. On the hot savannah he kept his cub-cousin laughing constantly. When Laini and Kuan went hunting, he often found the prey first, and was very talented at hunting down prey. Eventually the trio was found by two Pridelanders named Zuberi and Roho. Zuberi began to attack the introduers but Kuan persuded him to let them see the King and Queen. Because of his jokes and wit, he saved his small family from being rogues their whole life. King Ahadi and Queen Uru declared for them to stay in the Pridelands, and together, Laini and Kuan let the King and Queen raise their young cousin, because they were to young to raise a cub. Kuan became good friends with Zuberi, Haki, Taka, Mufasa, Sarafina and Sarabi. Taka asked him to be The Keenest of Sight in the Lion Guard. He agreed and until his late teens he protected the Pridelands. Taka declared he was more suited to be King and told The Lion Guard to overthrow his older brother using the roar. Kuan and the rest of the guard told him they would not. Taka banished the Guard out of the Pridelands. Kuan did not know where else to go. He assumed Taka used the roar on his brother and if he went back he would have killed him. Kuan decided to go back to the jungles where he was raised. On the way back to his old home, he met a lioness named Tayari. Tayari was the bravest lioness he had ever met, and she was the funniest! When they finally got back to the jungle, he and Tayari restarted his old pride. They made a new den and accepted lion rogues from many different prides who were outcasted. He and Tayari had two daughters named Almasi and Sauti. Kuan is current Jungle Pride King and his daughter Almasi will assume throne after him. Peace was finally back into the Jungle Pride. He often sees his cousin and sister in the Badlands and takes trips to the Pridelands to see Sarabi and Sarafina.
