Bio: Kani is the daughter of Aza and twin sister to Nakato. She and her sister were both born in a cave (not with a pride) where her unknown father (a rogue) had briefly helped their mother Aza take care of them. But he shortly got tired of being a parent and decided to call things a quit between him and Aza. He is use to be alone and is not quite ready for a family. So, Aza and their unknown father had parted ways and never crossed each others paths again. So thus, Kani and Nakato both grew up father-less and never did ask their mother what had happened. As small cubs, Kani and her twin sister lived hard lives having to travel and hide constantly with their mother. It was not enjoyable since they could not play around often without being on heavy-strict watch and rules.

Then finally with special luck, the small family had come across a desert where they run into Zira and her small growing pride for the very first time. Zira allowed for them to easily join since she noticed Aza had two cubs along with her. Zira knows that a single mother should be protected and cared for. Aza thanked Zira and was forever grateful, the two had even developed a close friendship with Kani being best friends with Zira's only cub Nuka (at that time frame). Kani and Nuka would play everyday. Aza could easily hint that someday the two would be mates once older and Zira figured the same. She considered Kani being Nuka's Queen once he is King (before Kovu was even born and around).

In her late teen-hood, Kani's feelings for Nuka had grown entirely. The two were always together and it was obvious to the Pride that they are definetly an item. But on the day of Nuka's death and the last to find out, Kani was completely crushed and heart-broken. She had everything planned in her life to spend it with Nuka and to hope to have a family someday too. He was her first love and will always be a King to her in her eyes. It had taken Kani a long time to mourn and get over his death. She would even have nightmares and both her sister and mother would worry. So to escape the madness, Kani decided to leave the Out-Lands after the war between the Outsiders vs. Pride-Landers. She was not interested in joining Simba's Pride or return to the Out-Lands. She needed to be somewhere new and fresh. Her twin sister Nakato even went off to join her journey. The mother Aza did not. She fitted perfectly in the Out-Lands and rather stay.

Kani and her sister both stumble across another pride called, "The Chewa" where Kani meets a handsome Prince named, "Asad". It took her some time to finally let him in and to date him. She listened to her sister to let go of Nuka and start a brand new happiness. So thus, she did and eventually married the Prince in result a happy ending.
