Origin/Meaning: Swahili; It means 'Trust'.

Gender: Lioness.

Age: Cub.

Parent(s): Kovu and Zahara.

Sibling(s): Seb (brother).

Friend(s): Amaris (best friend from childhood).

Cub(s): Acasia, Kadri, and Saar.

Pride(s): Zahara's Pride (her mothers in the Out-Lands).

Status: Princess of the Out-Lands.

Personality: Brave like her father, playful, daring, mischievious, always adventurous, sensitive, friendly, smart, a dreamer, kind, conflicted, caring, serious, protective, affectionate, good-hearted, fun-loving, cheerful, and calm.

Bio: Amana is the daughter of Kovu and Zahara. She was born in the Out-Lands along with her brother Seb at the time frame after Simba and Zira had a battle-field war, along with Kovu and Kiara uniting the prides at the end. Kovu has no clue that he has children, because Zahara purposely kept it a secret away from him and begged their child-hood friends 'Kheri' and 'Tamu' to not say a word to Kovu about it. So thus, it leaves Amana and Seb both father-less for quite some time now and Amana unlike her brother, does always wonder if their father is around nearby. Amana would try to ask Zahara (her mother) questions about who Kovu is and where he is too, but Zahara purposely would ignore the cub's curious questions.

Growing up, Amana and Seb shared a great sibling bond. Seb always looked after both his sister and mother no matter what. Amana appreciated it but sometimes she wish her brother could stop being so protective and understand her decisions of why she wishes hard to seek out for their father. All siblings have disagreements and this was definitely one of those moments. Amana knows she can not force her brother to tag along with her. This is something she has to do on her own.

One day when Amana is grown and able to venture out the Out-Lands alone, she will go on a quest to find her father and learn of whom he is and why he did not stay with 'his' family.

Also growing up, Amana meets another lioness cub her age named "Amaris" who is from their Out Land pride as well. The two have become best friends always hung about, sharing each other stories and gossip about boys in the pride doing girly things. Amaris particularly has a huge intrest in her brother Seb (of course when they are much older) and it use to always gross Amana out because hey, that's her brother! But over time she accepted her best friend's feelings and would want nothing but happiness for the two. Besides, she had something more important to work on and that was to find her father. Amana regrets still upon his very day for leaving Amaris behind and her brother Seb that should leave home not keeping anyone informed. It left Amaris losing trust in her best friend which will soon become a problem factor later. Hopefully when Amana returns home, the two can make a mend.

Once Amana approaches Pride Rock, she meets another lion there named "Kaawa" who is the grandson of Tama. In the beginning, Amana did not like him because he reminded her of too much like Seb and Amaris, they way they've ordered her around and always worried about her searching for her father in the Pride Lands. Kaawa did not mean any harm, he just didn't want no drama between him and the royal family. He only told the lioness to return home that was it, but in a friendly tone. Just in time before Amana snapped, Seb joined the scene by surprise. He almost got into a conflict with Kaawa but Amana protected him and told her brother that they have over stayed their welcome. Kaaawa was sadden and wish to have met the lioness again. But Amana did make a return a couple of days later. She wanted to apologize for her actions and asked if he'd like to meet her mother and best friend. Kaawa loved the idea and followed her into the Out lands. He always wanted to visit there since his "unknown named" father was born and raised there. So it was cool for him to learn a bit of family history.

After becoming very close to Kaawa, the two made it offical to be mates and Kaawa had made a huge choice to join Amana in the Pride Lands, although like her father, she was willing to move at Pride Rock. Kaawa rather make the big adjust and was happy live in the Out Lands. Later on, the two granted 3 cubs and every since then, life has been amazing for Amana. Becoming a mother had taken her mind  a lot off of Kovu, making her finally move on.
