Personality: A loving father and grandfather, intelligent, brave, friendly, strong minded.

Story: Not much is known about his past or where he came from, but Jumaane was born with a younger brother, however they parted ways as teenagers and both lived as rogues, until Jumaane joined a small pride that was led by a young lion, who didn't really have much experience on how to rule a pride. He named Jumaane his advisor, and little by little the pride started doing a bit better. Jumaane met a lioness named Imani and fell in love with her at first sight, all tough she didn't seem all that interested in him at first. They became friends, and finally he managed to "charm" Imani and she couldn't help but fall for him. They became mates, and not long after that Imani found out she was pregnant with Jumaane's cub. Some time later, they had a healthy little son who they named Mchumba, who Jumaane loved more than anything, he was the apple of his eye and being a father was the best thing that had ever happened to him. But shortly after Mchumba's birth, dry season hit and the pride that was already living in poor conditions was now really struggling. Prey animals were leaving the lands, and Jumaane could have spend days trying to find food for his family, with little results. Jumaane and Imani couldn't bare the thought of their little son starving to death. So after a long talk, they finally came to a decision with heavy hearts to send Mchumba away to a near by pride that happened to be led by Jumaane's brother, Ramses, which they knew had better conditions and where Mchumba could have a much better life and grow into a healthy adult lion. They were both heart broken, but the thought of their son surviving was all that mattered. About a year later, Imani fell seriously ill, and even though the wise old Rafiki tried all his medical skills, she eventually passed away. Jumaane was struck down with grief, he had lost literally everything: first his son and now his mate. This was the last straw for him, and he decided to leave his pride and try to find his son. But as he got to the pride they had left Mchumba with, Jumaane learned that he had left some time ago to live on his own. Jumaane was determined to find his son, so he set out towards the Pride lands. He wasn't a young lion anymore, and the long journey wore him out, so he stopped at a watering hole for a drink and rest to gather his strength - not realizing that he had already arrived in the Pride lands. Then, two young cubs stumbled upon him, named Johari and Atom, only to be followed by a larger reddish brown male who jumped in front of them, thinking Jumaane was going to hurt them. Jumaani looked into the male's blue eyes, and after studying him for a moment, it hit him: He was looking at his own son, his own flesh and blood. When they regocknized each other, both of them were absolutely thrilled and they pounced at each other, nuzzling and "bumping heads". Mchumba introduced Jumaane to his mate Odette, and revealed that he had just been on his way to find him as well, evetually they invited Jumaane to stay with them, and the father and son had a heart warming reunion.
