Story: The second born of the twins to Mchumba and Odette, she followed a few minutes after older brother Jelani, but she was also weaker and grew sick, because of this Odette and Mchumba grew worried their daughter would not make it. She was taken to Rafeiki in hopes he could save her, he managed to but not before the long illness, took its toll on the young Atiena. Now anytime she overexerts herself she becomes weak and has a hard time breathing. 

Atiena is very close to her older brother and they often tend not to listen to thier parents at all. Atiena ran off one day toward the one place their parents said to never go "The Elephant Graveyard". She was attacked by hyenas and badly weakened again, Jelani had followed her and managed to fight the hyena's off but what really scared them was when Mchumba showed up. He was outraged that Jelani and Atiena did not listen to him and after making sure Atiena could walk walked them back home and then tok Jelani aside while Odette took Atiena.

Johari and Atiena are super close and Ati looks up to Johari so knowing she upset everyone in her family by once again not listening to her father. She apolagized and has not really strayed since then. Atiena has her mother and father's eyes and looks more like Mchumba, where Jenali looks more like Odette.
