History: Nzuri's parents met when her father (a Pridelander) accidentally got injured and lost in the Outlands and her mother found him. She initially wanted nothing to do with this stranger, but eventually decided to nurse him back to health in secret. While she healed him, she would listen to stories about the Pridelands. She started to realize how messed up the Outlands were and fell in love with the stranger. They dreamt about leaving together after he was healed, but Zira soon find out and kick him out of the Outlands. Leaving her pregnant and without a mate. She soon gave birth to Nzuri, her only cub. Nzuri lived in the Outlands until she turned 9 years old (lion years) when Zira learned about Nzuri's crush on Vitani and severely scratched her arm. Then Nzuri's mother sent her off to run away to the Pridelands, where she thought she would be safe. Once she ran away, she bumped into Timon and Pumbaa, who then brought her to Simba and became a member of his pride.
