name : bakari ( meaning "noble promise" in swahili )

personality : true to his name bakari is a lion of honor. he is very serious and gruff for a cub his age and hates those who take pleasure in causing chaos, he may not show it but bakari secretly resents choto for his position as future king since he doesn't take it seriously and believes that zeka deserves someone better.

bio : bakari is the second cub of tala and dhaifu's three cubs and their second son, when they were born choto was betrothed to the king's daughter zeka however tala, not wanting bakari to feel inferior to his older brother suggested that bakari be trained to be his brother and future sister in laws personal bodyguard when they became king and queen.

when bakari and his siblings were old enough to walk and talk bakari was taken and trained in the ways of fighting, it wasn't long before bakari began to show signs that he was very serious for someone so young and took to his lessons quite well.

unfortunately whenever bakari had free time from his lessons he usual spent that time being the peace keeper between choto and their sister kenene, who had developed some jealousy towards choto for being the betrothed of the future queen this lead to bakari avoiding his siblings whenever he could and spending time with his future sister in laws great uncle, ni who was only too happy to take the young lion under his wing and spend time with him and kenene.
