Personality – Kerchak is a stubborn but friendly lion who tends to take time analysing lions before he decides whether to accept them into his friend group or not. He can be quite flirty when he wanted to be and is full of confidence, however he can be quite bashful and shy. He is a lion with a lot of penitence and it takes a lot to anger him or get on his bad side, however once you are on his bad side it is hard to get out. He can be very serious to the point he overdoes it and his sense of humour can vary on his mood.

Home – Technically the Pridelands as Simba has allowed him to live there, but he tends to stay in whatever cave he can find that is empty and suits the needs of him and his sister.

Storyline & Background info -

Kerchaks parents were rogues who travelled from pride to pride to seek shelter, food and warmth. A lot of the time they were chased away but there were a few prides who would give them what they wanted along with their friendship. Kerchak spent most of his time as a cub travelling, its why he loves to adventure so much.

It wasn't until he was in his late teens that his little sister, Jasiri was born and his parents decided to settle down for a bit and not travel for a while. Kerchak, his parents and his sister stayed in the Pridelands whilst Jasiri grew to be strong enough to travel. This is where he met Malka and they found out they were cousins. Malkas parents offered for Kerchak and his family to join their pride and stay there. Kerchak didn't really want to but his parents were getting old and needed a proper home. So He and his family went to stay at Malkas pride.

As a young adult, Kerchak grew bored of pride life. He missed travelling a lot. He would soothe his crave to travel by telling his little sisters the stories of his travels as a cub. One day he decided to tell his parents that he wanted to travel again but his parents were too old to travel now, so they told him to do what he wants but they wouldn't come along.

Kerchak decided to talk to his cousin, Malka, who was now king of the pride about it. Malka dint want to see his cousin go, but also wanted him to be happy. Malka gave him permission to leave the pride but he could also visit whenever he wanted. Kerchak thanked his cousin and got ready to leave. When he was about to go, his mother asked him to take Jasiri with him, she really wanted to travel with him, he was a bit hesitant at first but decided to let her come along. The two travelled to an area ( near where Timon and Pumbaa used to live) where they met Gursharon and her brother Dakarai. Kerchak was cautious at first but soon warmed to them, he grew to have feelings for Gursharon.

One day, Gursharon woke him up, She wanted to go back to her home, to the Pridelands and for him and Jasiri to join her. So Kerchak, Jasiri, Gursharon and Dakarai all went to the Pridelands Kerchak made a lot of now friends and decided to ask Simba if he could live in the Pridelands but not be a pride member, Simba accepted.

One day, Kerchak was going to ask Gursharon to be his mate, but when she came to him telling him all about Kaleb. He realised she had feelings for him and kept quiet. It hurt him a lot and he felt jealous of Kaleb, but he was a nice lion and he still liked him.
