Short description: Dark brown lioness with sky-blue eyes.

Appearance: Murua is a bulky lioness with strong paws and a slightly pointed muzzle. She carries a dark brown pelt with a lighter muzzle, underbelly and paws with dark fur surrounding her sky-blue eyes. She has a small nick in one ear and a dark tail-tip.

Personality: Murua is a stubborn lioness but also a loving mother. Due to her many lost litters of cubs she is protective of her only daughters and prefers to stay with her at all times. She gets annoyed when when elders and fellow lionesses comment how overprotective she is however she prefers to shake it off. The lioness is easily angered when danger arises and can sometimes make bad decision during critical times.

Cub: Although not much is known about her cubhood it was said that she was born to an outlander lioness and a passing rogue. Althrough it was seen as betrayal to the pride the lionesses eventually decided that they need as many strong lions for the attack on the Ndona pride as possible and spared the cubs life.

Teen: Murua was a teen during the great battle between the outlanders and pridelanders and lost her first litter of cubs at this time. Although she was furious at loosing the battle she decided to follow her clanmates and join the Ndona Pride.

Adult: Murua served the her new pride as a hunter and during her adulthood she lost several litters of cubs The only help during these horrible days was her mate Baraka, a fellow hunter of the pride. Eventually she managed to bear a healthy cub who she now named Kebibi due to her small size.The two proud parents were finally blessed with a cub and Murua swore to protect her tiny daughter which caused her to grow extremely protective to the point of not even letting other pride members come near the cub until she learned to walk properly. Wanting to protect her daughter Murua insisted that Kebibi would start training later that other cubs however after a long talk her mate convinced her to allow it.

Tragety struck when the pride found out about the young lionesses incident at the gorge. Murua was one of the first lions to arrive at the shamans den and was horrefied when she found out that her daughter lost her back paws. She grew furious at her daughter's mentor Lerato for letting her cub wander out of sight. Eventually Murua gave up on hunting and retired to become an elder due to her depression.

Relation to TLK: Nala taught Murua how to hunt larger prey such as Zebra while working in a group, a skill she hasn't developed before due to the lack of such prey in the outlands. For a short while she also had a small crush on Kovu until she met Baraka.
