History:

Desta was the second cub born from Ombi and Mbali. His brother, Lutalo was born First. Unlike his brother Desta was quite. He barley ever made any noise which did terrify his mother.

When Desta grew into a cub he still never spoke, He would use gestures when wanting to communicate. His mother was scared that her son would never speak. she went to see a mandrill hoping that she could help. The Mandrill saw nothing wrong with the child, Desta just refused to speak. Ombi explained to his wife that he was the exact same when he was a cub and all she needed to do was be patient.

Eventually Desta did speak. Which made his relationship with his family better.
