History:

Joto was born around the same time as his sister Sabaya. He was a prince in the Canyon Pride, a pride that lived in a canyon.

One day he ran into his uncle, Ni. Joto had never met him before, and did not realize he was his uncle, because he was not part of the pride.

Joto became good friends with Siri, a cub who was actually his cousin, though it was a long time before they actually discovered that; Siri and her siblings had been adopted by a member of the pride after their parents had left them in the canyon.

Relation to TLK: His uncle is Ni and he is friends with him.
