Name : Taraji | Ta/Ra/Jee.

Meaning : "Hope" in Swahili.

Family : Kiara (Mother), Kovu (Father), Kiburi (Brother).

Age : Adult (Otherwise depends on use).

History : Born alongside her brother, Kiburi, Taraji was chosen secretly as the future queen due to being born a few moments earlier than him. Kiara did not wish for things to turn out like the lions that her father often taught her of, and as a result, they never once told them who was future ruler.

As cubs, Taraji was the more gentle and kindest of the pair. She listened to lessons deeply and obeyed every rule. She made good friends with Vitani's younger son - Kupata, while making rivals with the older sister of their family - Kutoa. Meanwhile, Kiburi was growing distant and darker from the family, and began to overthink leaving the lands for good.

Near adulthood, Kiburi was exiled - much to his heartbreak of not being future king. Taraji took her reigns as a queen, soon marying a young rogue that shown up near her borders. She later had her own cubs and privaledges, but not before a pack of hyenas shown up - led by her own brother - now grown and with friends and mates of his own.

The pride overthrew them quickly, but the leader and Kiburi made off quickly. The pride resumed for years and years, but Taraji wondered....would they ever return?

Personality : Calm and collected. She's quite shy and gentle, and hates being frightened or attacked. She loves her mates and cubs dearly, but she hates Kutoa - who often gets in her way. She can be seen as regal and prideful - as she is the queen.
