Likes: Play fighting, embarrassing her brother, being in charge, swimming. 

Dislikes: When Jangwa gets angry at her, being alone.

Personality: Daima can be rather bossy and intimidating, despite her small size. Daima is honest and will always speak her mind, even when this is sometimes inappropriate.  She is a skilled fighter but not much of a hunter. Just like her brother, Daima is very persistent and will do anything in her power to achieve her goals.

Appearance:  Daima has a brown colour with lighter parts on her muzzle, belly and toes. Her throat marking does not go all the way up to her chin as in most lionesses. Daima has a dark brown tailtuft and dark brown elbow tufts. She’s bigger than her brother as a cub, but when she grows up she’s smaller than the average lioness.

History:  Daima and her twin brother Jangwa were born around the time of the reunion of the outlands and the pridelands. Their mother could not follow Zira into battle and stayed behind with Daima’s aunt. Daima’s mother became ill and died when her cubs were barely weaned, leaving Jangwa and Daima in the care of their aunt. Having no idea of what happened with the rest of the outlanders the aunt raised Daima and her twin in the outlands. One day, when their aunt was out hunting Jangwa and Daima were playing hide and seek. Daima could not find Jangwa and waited for him at the border. When Jangwa came back he had the princess of the pridelands with him. Princess Mali invited them to come live in the pridelands.
