Sly and secretive. Lagiza has a strong ability to manipulate others - hence the nickname "Lagiza the Weaver" which was given to him because of his way of weaving into his victims minds.

Lagiza has many clever tactics to get lions to join and work for him. Once he managed to weave into the mind of a weak lion called Meta and ordered him to capture as many lion cubs as he could from his leader's territory and bring them to him.

Lagiza is very good at putting on a friendly voice and personality to hide his own horrible one. He is well known for having a foul temper and small, unpredictible fits of anger, especially when others are around him. Lagiza used to show a small bit of compassion for things that cry, but the older he got that soon disappeared.

History -

His mother, Nika gave birth to two cubs, Unfa and himself.

Sadly one night a troop of vicious baboons, which lived nearby, hoarded the group and took away  Unfa. Torono chased after them but never returned.

Lagiza's mother and uncle sent out patrols to find them, but none came back with any good news.

2 months after the drama, Lagiza's mother went quite mad and ordered her brother, Oben to find her a male cub to replace Unfa.

Oben went first to the Pride Lands in search for one. But unluckily for him, he found out that their was no male cubs born at the time and he had to leave. When he was nearly out of the Pride Lander's territory, Oben met Rafiki the baboon. The baboon could scent that the lion was not from Simba's Pride, so he frightened Oben off (which was easy, as Oben was now scared stiff of baboons).

At last, Oben came to a small family of lions from the Aben Pride, who had recently been blessed with a small boy. Oben secretly stole the cub one night when the family were asleep and returned back to his leader the next morning. The cub was named I.

At first Lagiza did not take to his new brother well, but the more I hung around him the closer they got.

Lagiza was also very serious about keeping where his new brother had come from a secret (his mother wanted it that way) and whenever rumours started to spread, Lagiza would be the first to protect his mother.

After the death of Nika, Lagiza changed. Heartlessly he blurted his brother's real past to I himself and proclaimed to his tribe that I would no longer be treated like a Prince - he was now a servant and a spy.

Lagiza and his tribe made the lands around fear them. He became enemies Obbler's Pride first, then made trouble for the Pridelanders (he tried to get two pridelanders (Leo and Meta) to steal cubs for him) and after a fight with King Kovu was banished.

Later he tried to cause trouble for both Jet and Jafiya and Obbler's prides. When the two prides united he was still their enemy and caused all sorts of heartace, including stealing Jafiya's grandson, Roscoe.

Lagiza captures a giant crocodile called Vurugu after his attempt to join forces with  Makuu and other crocodiles prove fruitless.

Relation to the story and characters of Disney film  "The Lion King"  -  Enemy of most of the Pride Landers.  Nearly minipulated two Pridelander lions called Meta and Leo into stealing cubs from Simba's Pride for him, but the plan was foiled when King Kovu stopped and physically fought him, banishing Lagiza from the Pridelands.

Lagiza also tries to join forces with Makuu's float, but the crocodile refuses to have anything to do with him and his tribe.
