Personality: Hermes is very smart, very, very, very fast, serious, responsible, perfectionist, friendly, he isn't very strong and is almost incapable of defend himself, calm, educated.

Likes: Fly as fast as he can, peace, work for the King, his family, the Pridelands, stay with other birds

History: Zazu and Binti decided to have eggs before Kovu and Kiara become so their son or daugther could serve them soon as possible. Hermes was born much before any cub in the Pridelands, at this time Kovu and Kiara were close to finally rule the Pridelands. Zazu and his family couldn't live in the Pridelands anymore, they lived in a giant tree wich was the house of many other birds. As a little kid Hermes was a bit coward, he was really weak, his parents even thought that he would die of weakness but with Binti and Zazu's dedication and love Hermes was growing strong little by little, actually, Hermes was very spoiled by his parents he had anything he wanted, his parents were too over-protective even more than Simba. For being very scared of the world outside his nest Hermes took a long time to learn how to fly, he only started to fly when he was a pre-teen almost a full teenager, all the other birds from his age mocked him, but he don't even cared.

However, even if Hermes only learned how to fly a little late, he was fast like a lighting and he was very smart, he was a nerd actually, he was the faster bird from his home, when he would race with some of his friends he was always the winner, however he only didn't knew how to fight, he wasn't so weak actually but he was educated and calm, he hated fights, he never said a bad word in his life and didn't know how to fight. Hermes loved his life in his tree with other birds around him, he hated to be on the ground, the sky and the trees was his home, however this all would change. One day, Zazu and Binti had a serious talk with Hermes, they explained that he would be the king's servant, he would help Kovu to watch over the Pridelands and send messages to other prides, he didn't had to live in the Pridelands but he would have to be with the King almost all the time, since day until dawn. Zazu expected that his son would love to have the same job as him but Hermes panicked, and not even because he would fly less than before but because he would be with lions, the predators that he most hated. After a few days, Zazu took Hermes to the Pridelands to his first day in job YAY! But Hermes was trembeling with fear, when he saw the lions closer he almost fainted, they were much more larger than he imagined and he only had saw the cubs, he wasn't sure if he would like his job. After knowing Kovu and his pride better he kinda liked them, he just didn't liked the cubs who would mess with him, Kovu was a serious king so Hermes and him get along very well, Hermes also liked Kiara, she reminded him of his mother, Hermes would spend more time with Kiara dn help her, Kovu almost didn't needed Hermes. After some years working for the king, Hermes started to love the Priderock, he was a great messager and tracker, he would do things in seconds, and since the cubs had grown up they didn't bother him anymore. And of course there times that Hermes could only stay in his home with his family in the big tree.

Hermes liked his life in the Pridelands but he was feeling a bit lonely, he was already a young adult and his mother just wanted him to find a mate and have a family but Hermes couldn't find the right mate for him. One day, a rogue lion came to the Pridelands asking to stay, along with the lion there was a beautiful female hornbill, her name was Kija, at the first glance Hermes fell in love for her. Hermes was the romantic kind but he was a bit shy while Kija was the bad girl kind, he was direct, she was like "If you like me, kiss me already DAMMIT!", she kinda scared Hermes sometimes but he loved her way of being. strong and uninhibited. Hermes would give her flowers or fruits and seeds but she would always reject it, all these things were ridiculous for her. One day, Hermes started to act all bad boy to see if he could impress Kija and after saving her who was with a broken wing with hyenas trying to attack her, Kija started to fall in love for Hermes, in the end she and Jaali decided to stay in the Pridelands forever, Kija accepted Hermes the way he was and didn't wanted him to change. When Hermes and Kija started to date, she also helped her mate to serve the king.
