For beign the oldest, Kanu was also the strongest male, he loved playing fights because he always won, but his favorite activity was bully other lions that were weaker than him or weren't from the Pridelands especially Alastor's sons and the other cubs, Kanu already created a lot of fighting with them and in most of them Alastor almost tried to kill him a plenty of times, because of Kanu the cubs from Alastor's got even forbidden to see the Pridelander's cubs again for weeks.

Kanu was a chaos maker, he loved to create trouble, if there was some serious trouble going on than it was Kanu that created it, even for a bad cub Kanu had a good heart, he respected his relativies and sometimes he could a sweetheart. As a teenager Kanu became a bit more calm, he wasn't that hyperative, brat and arrogant cub, he even became more responsible and understanding, his cousins liked to be with him and they still get in trouble most of times.

As a young adult, he stayed the same but even more responsible and a bit serious, his family was proud of his change of personality and Kanu was also trying his best to be the mature lion everyone wanted him to be. When the war between the Pridelands and the West pride happened Kanu helped Kovu to kill Alastor, after that Kanu gained more trust from his uncle who never really liked him, Kanu became Kovu's right arm. Since this Kanu started to abuse from his new position in the Pridelands and started to tease everyone again.
