Personality: As young, Jaali was a quite and shy cub, he hardly would play with other cubs and stayed with his mother all the time, everything seemed to scare him even his own shadow, he only felt safe by the side of Zira, but soon he started to learn how to live on his own, as a teenager he became a strong male, he was serious, smart and was still shy with only a few friends, but he also had an dark mind and heart that he knew how to hide behind the figure of a "good lion", but inside Jaali is just like Zira and Scar, same mind and ideas, the wish of power and respect and the lust for being bad. Also, Jaali can be very narcissist sometimes, he doesn't likes to be dirty or when his mane is all messed up, he likes to be clean and is always "brushing" his mane.

History: Everyone thought that Zira died in the river, but she never felt so alive and powerful. After beign carried by the waters of the rivers, Zira reached a distant pride called the Mountain pride, of course that pride was in a mountain, after beign accepted in the pride and after some events, Zira managed to kill the leader's mate and become his mate instead, and after that she killed the leader of the pride and became the "queen" of the mountain lions, but before killing the previous leader she had a cub with him, a boy, wich she named Jaali, Zira believed that Jaali was the cub who would fulfil her plans of taking over the Pridelands, kill Simba's descendants and followers and avenge Scar, and she would train him to do it.

When Jaali became a full grown cub he just wasn't the way Zira imagined, he was just like his father, a coward afraid of his own shadow and that just made Zira mad at him, Jaali didn't liked to be with other cubs only with his mother, he was very shy and was afraid of everything, afraid of getting hurt, afraid of getting dirty, afraid of getting wet, afraid of getting killed... Zira had to change her son to be a brute killer who was not even afraid of death. Since Jaali was a young cub Zira started to train him to be heartless and brute, she used the most creppy methods she knew, Zira left Jaali alone in the middle of nothing for one week and made him go back home by himself, she threw him off a cliff everyday, if Jaali didn't find a way to to hold on and climb back up he would die, there were times that Zira would even make Jaali kill the dinner for himself and many other creppy training methods. Jaali was always exhausted because of Zira's training, even if she was a harsh mother during the day, Zira always seemed to be more calm and lovely during the night and treated Jaali like a beloved son.

With all the training, Jaali became a strong and brute teenager, heartless just like his mother wanted. But he couldn't lie to himself, Jaali knew that everything he had done was wrong but Zira always managed to brainwash him and make him believe that he should be cruel and bad. Jaali was a anti-social, he only had 3 friends that he just saw a few times and spent most of his time training, Jaali didn't knew what he was doing with his life but he kept doing what Zira told him to, sometimes he imagined himself doing anything he ever wanted, leave the Mountain pride, found a mate, have a family, but he would quickly forget about his dreams and act like a brute and bad lion.

Now a little older, it was time to put the plan in action. Zira sent Jaali to the Pridelands to kill the king and become king instead with a female hornbill called Kija as a companion, Kija would tell Zira about everything that was going on. Soon, Jaali and Kija went to the Pridelands, Jaali went to the Priderock and said that he was a rogue that needed a home, Kovu believed Jaali and let him stay. As the days went on, Jaali become closer to Kovu's daugthers especially Safiri, he ended up falling in love for her, and Kaji had fallen in love for Zazu's son. Jaali and Kija decided to stay and never see Zira again, but Zira would know she has been betrayed again, and would come back.
