-Personality: Laid back for the most part, overly cautious (mellos out, though), a bit overconfident at times, always jumps in to defend someone

-Info: Jelani was born to the king of the Star-mane pride some time before Simba in the Pride Lands. His father was a wise and strong king while his mother...a cruel lioness. He often saw this around Daiki, his half-brother Allan had with his first and only love. It became even worse when his younger sister was born albino, overhearing a conversation his parents had with Maya threatening to kill the little cub. Jelani pretty much became her protector and guardian during the time in his home pride. They were also best friends with a cub named Kodi ( http://www.animationsource.org/lion_king/en/chars/Kodi_KWD123/50601.html ). During his teen years, Jelani displayed overconfidence since he was the strongest of the young lions of his generation. It only stopped when he decided to take on an alpha wild dog and got his first scars (the ones on his cheek that look like fang marks). He got into an argument with his father who wanted him to take his place as king, but Jelani didn't want to and left the pride, saying, "If you want me to be king, then good luck trying to find me! I'm never going to be one!" He traveled rather far from his homeland, living as most rogues do. At this time, he happened across a young lion cub with no memory of what happened to his family, Sipho. He took care of the cub, protecting him from other lions and predators. While the rogue life was okay for Jelani, Sipho wanted to meet other lions. On the border of the Pride Lands, Sipho ran off which forced Jelani deeper into the territory. There they run into Lee who thought they were invaders. But seeing as how Jelani was acting different than most rogues, she led them to Simba and he allowed them to stay. There, Sipho had found his parents once more and Jelani found himself becoming mates with Lee and having cubs of his own. When the Out Land lionesses joined the Pride Lands, Vitani became a part of the family.

Lion King Related: Jelani's mate Lee was raised by the hyena Banzai, he becomes Vitani's step-dad, and the cub he took care of Sipho is the grandson to Scar.
