Story: Hatua was the second born out of the triplets. Before any of the triplets were born his half brother Hatari was born. Out of the triplets his sister Hermoso was born first so she would become Queen, born after him was Shida. Hatua and Shida wouldn't become rulers but could help Hermoso around.

Sometimes his aunts and uncles Sukari, Vitani, Kopa, Pacha, Fluffy and Kion would babysit him, Hermoso, Shida and Hatari when no one else was able to. Sometimes Hatua would hang out with his uncles Kopa and Pacha and ask them what it was like being a rogue. His most answer that he got was you can live in your own life, you're free to do whatever unless you walk on someone's land and sometimes hard. It around that time when he decided to go out on his own when he was older and become a rogue and find his own pride and become King. He would play with the other male cubs of the Pride and also his sister Hermoso, they would get all dirty and hae mud all over their fur. Hatua and some others in the Pridelands notice that Hatari was changing from a nice, shy, gentle cub and becomes a cub that doesn't really listen to anyone.

At the age of a teen his father Kovu and mother Kiara found a human baby girl crying and laying down on the ground.Kovu and Kiara decided to adopt the human girl and named her Jalokivi. Eeryone thought that Jalokivi was so cute and they all loved her, Hatua could also tell that Hatari lovedc Jalokivi. Sometimes Hatua was spending time with his sister Hermoso not to far away from their grandparents Simba and Nala. They would see them trying to take care of Jalokivi and they would often laugh.

As he got older his father Kovu died and his mother Kiara was ruling all by herself until his sister Hermoso decided to help, he find out that she wanted to get use to the feeling of running the kingdom before she became Queen. Around this time was when Hatua was making plans to tel everyone in the Pridelands that he was going to leave and find hid own Pride.
