Before Birth: Nala find that Kovu was spending a lot of time around her. She kept on telling him to go away and hang out with his wife Kiara, sometimes Kovu would but most of the time he just stayed there and bugged Nala even more. Some days pasted and Nala find herself pregnant.

Story: Hatari was born in the Pridelands. When he was born Nala triedto keep him away from the others because she knew that his father wasn't Simba and she wanted to take a closer look at him to find out who his father was. Soon Nala find out that Hatari's father was Kovu. Once Simba came in to look at Hatari he saw his brown fur and asked Nala if she was cheating on her. Nala told him that she wasn't which was the truth but lied about the fur coat colour could have been from someone in one of their familied. Simba was pretty sure that Nala was telling him the truth so he took a lot of care of Hatari. When Simba left and his oldest half sister Sukari came in, Nala told everything to her oldest daughter but not even her own mate. Sukari never told anyone that Hatari's father was Kovu. A few days later Kiara gave birth to triplets and named them Hermoso, Shida and Hatua, who were Kovu's sons and daughter.

As he became a cub his mother would tell him that his father wasn't Simba and that it was someone else in the Pridelands. Hatari wanted his mother to tell him who his father really was but she wouldn't tell him. His older siblings Sukari, Vitani, Kopa, Kiara, Pacha, Fluffy and Kion would sometimes have to babysit him and the triplets when no one else was able to. Around this time was when Hatari became a little bit more of a trouble maker and wouldn't listen to what his siblings, parents and Simba said to him. He would sometimes go to where his parents told him not to go like the elephant graveyard and the Outlands.

Once he was the age of a teen his father Kovu and half sister Kiara find a human baby girl crying and laying down on the ground. Kovu and Kiara decide to adopt this human girl and named her Jalokivi. aeaveryone thought that Jalokivi was so cute and they all loved her, even Hatari.

As he got older his father Kovu died and his half sister Kiara was ruling all by herself until Hermoso helped, she wanted to get use to the feeling of running the kingdom before she became Queen.
