Story: Mkali was born sometime after the princess of the Pridelands Kiara. He was loved by both his parents Chumvi and Kula, he was also really loved by his older sister Jua. Some of his first memories was his sister Jua taking care of him and playing with Kiara.

As Mkali got older he really started to love Kiara but was to shy to tell her. One day Mkali saw Kiara going to the Outlands. He asked her where she was going and she said she was going to go and see a friend, it was also okay if he went with her. So of course Mkali went with her. Once they got to Kiara's friend the cub knew who Mkali was. The cub told him that his name was Kovu and his father was also Chumvi.

As Mkali was a teen he always saw Kiara all sad and blue because Simba knew that she kept on visiting Kovu so he told her that she couldn't anymore. Mkali was always there for Kiara because well he loved her and he didn't want to see her like this.

Soon Mkali was a young adult when he finally saw his half brother Kovu again. He was happy but also sad. Happy because it been so long and they could finally hang out again. Sad because it seemed like Kiara really liked Kovu.

Sometime later there was war. Mkali notice that Kiara and Kovu weren't there and he really hoped that they would show up and end the war. Luckily his wish came true. Outlanders joined the Pridelands. Since Kovu noticed how Mkali was he told him that he would try and find him a loving mate.
